What You’ll Do

• Proficiency in CAD design (Part modeling, assemblies, drafting, and drawing creation) - Siemens NX ideally or similar;
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals;
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T);
• Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles;
• Competent in using other engineering design tools such as FEA/FEM;
• Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcenter);
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration;
• Time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
• Competent in the generation of technical documentation.

Requirements

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering;
• 3+ years design experience in a precision engineering environment;
• Strong foundational knowledge of designing products for survivability;
• Advantageous to have worked in the design of aerospace or mil spec products and systems;
• Experience working with technical suppliers to ensure products design requirements;
• Experience in working with products across its full life cycle.
