Our Electronics Tech Center in Brasov focuses on the innovation, development and testing of electronic applications in the Safety area (Active Seatbelts & Steering Wheels), coordinating end-to-end projects directly for OEMs. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Architect to join our team in the automotive embedded systems domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, automotive technologies, and system architecture design. You will play a crucial role in defining and developing the architecture of our next-generation automotive safety systems.
What will you do?
- System Architecture Design: Develop and define the overall system architecture for automotive embedded systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance;
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements, translating them into technical specifications and architectural designs;
- Integration: Oversee the integration of hardware and software components, ensuring seamless interaction and functionality;
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence;
- Standards Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and regulations, including ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and other relevant standards;
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and technical reports;
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges and issues, ensuring the robustness and reliability of the system;
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality automotive solutions.
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Previous experience in system architecture, with a focus on automotive embedded systems;
- Proficiency in embedded systems design, microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet);
- Strong understanding of automotive standards and regulations, including ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Relevant certifications in system architecture or automotive engineering are a plus.
