Your Mission

As an Electrical Design Engineer in our Energy team at Tractebel, you contribute to the development of large-scale energy projects, delivering innovative and efficient engineering solutions. Our team focuses on designing and optimizing energy infrastructure, ensuring reliability, sustainability, and technical excellence to support the transition to a cleaner and more resilient energy future.

Your key responsibilities

You provide technical and economic activities – consultancy/design – related to large energy projects;
You use computer modelling software to produce designs and energy production estimates;
You prepare project plans, schedules of work and cost estimates for large energy projects;
You liaise with stakeholders, as investors, suppliers, contractors and other engineering and science professionals;
You issue Design Notes, Drafts, Specifications, Technical Specifications and Briefs, Progress Reports, etc.;
You issue/collaborate to the quality assurance plan of your projects;
You carry out site visits and evaluations for new and existing energy projects;
You apply the technical regulations and laws relevant for the projects you are involved in;
You comply with and enforce compliance with the Health/Safety guidelines set out in the Project Safety Plan;
You receive and share the expertise with the projects teams.

We would love to hear from people with

Engineering background (Bachelor/Master Degree), preferable in power engineering/electrical field;
Good knowledge of regulations and permitting related to large energy projects;
Knowledge of design norms and regulations;
Knowledge of design and software tools dedicated to energy projects is a plus;
English proficiency, good knowledge of a second language can be an advantage;
Very good knowledge of MS Office package;
