We’re looking for a Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design activities within aircraft-level Maintenance or Completion projects. Your mission

• Lead a mechanical engineering team and ensure project success across cost, schedule, quality, weight, and acoustic targets.
• Prepare and validate quotations, define scopes, and support sales activities.
• Drive upfront project planning: collect data, clarify assumptions, and secure sold hours.
• Define mechanical design principles and system architecture.
• Manage supplier interfaces and subcontracting activities.
• Ensure efficient processes and high-quality deliverables using modern tools and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Engineering Project Managers to define deliverables, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
• Participate in customer reviews, propose engineering solutions, and support change management.
• Act as design checker, releaser, and change specialist during liaison phases.
• Support project milestones and contribute to make-or-buy decisions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and integrate lessons learned.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related aeronautic professional field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in VIP aircraft mechanical engineering and team leadership.
• Proficiency in CAE & CAD tools (AutoCAD, Catia V5, Siemens NX, TeamCenter) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills aligned with Jet Aviation values and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); French and/or German are a plus.
