Hardware Engineer for High Speed Designs

We are looking for skilled and motivated colleagues who are passionate about developing high-quality and elegant hardware engineering solutions for the leading European satellite missions.

What do we expect from you?

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable qualification;
At least 5 years of professional experience in circuit design, ideally within the aerospace sector;
Strong expertise in circuit design, PCB design as a plus;
Experience with Altium Designer and Spice simulation tools is an advantage;
High level of enthusiasm, initiative and strong team spirit;
Ability to collaborate effectively in large-scale projects;
Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably also in German.

What are your responsibilities?

Develop and design of high speed and digital electronics including:
- Programmable logics and processors, like FPGAs and CPUs;
- Memories, like DDR, SRAM, MRAM and Flash;
- External Interfaces, like SpaceWire, WizardLink, Mil-Std-1553 Bus, RS422, UART, JTAG.
Select suitable (EEE) parts for various models;
Drive requirements engineering in close collaboration with Systems Engineering;
Prepare detailed block diagrams and circuit schematics using Altium Designer;
Conduct analyses such as worst case, derating, reliability and power;
Perform circuit simulations with tools such as PSpice or LTSpice;
Support prototyping, bring-up and commissioning of developed circuits;
Develop and document electrical test procedures;
Contribute to design reviews and support parallel project activities.
