About the job

As FPGA-engineer you are responsible for the design, development and verification of complex and high-speed digital functions in state-of –the-art FPGA technology as applied in our radars. Your work covers the complete development cycle: definition of FPGA-requirements, design of the FPGA-architecture, implement detailed design, verify the design in RTL by simulations on host and validation on the target HW-platform. All steps in the development cycle will be documented by you. You will work according the defined project plan and keep stake holders informed.

You will work in close cooperation with other FPGA-engineers and team-members of other disciplines like system architects, HW engineers, SW engineers, etc., to come to an overall optimal technical solution.

Due to the nature of our products and solutions a NL-nationality is preferred.

About you

• You have a Master/Bachelor degree in Electronic s Engineering with a specialization in digital electronics;
• You have experience with the use of Hardware Description Languages like VHDL;
• You have experience with tooling like: HDL Designer, Questa Sim, Synplify Pro and Vivado;
• You have experience with scripting languages like: TCL/TK, Python and bash;
• You have experience in working with version control systems;
• You are creative, enterprising and problem solving;
• You are an enthusiastic and persistent personality with good communication skills;
• You are independent but not individual;
• You are fluent in English, both in writing and in speech.
