Job purpose and responsibilities

This position provides a fantastic opportunity to work as part of the GPU HW leadership team; defining, developing and delivering the future GPU HW roadmap. The role includes responsibility for providing strong leadership to GPU HW Engineering’s multisite teams; encompassing design, verification and implementation skills.

  • Team leadership and talent management: effective leadership of the team, including: hiring, retention, scalability, development, succession, mentoring and coaching, while acting as a leader who sets the standard and inspires extraordinary teams;
  • Delivery: Drive execution at pace across multiple teams and locations, ensuring milestones are met while proactively managing risks and dependencies;
  • Strategy: Translate group-level goals into clear team strategies and roadmaps. Build scenarios that challenge assumptions and explore exciting opportunities;
  • Methodology: Foster continuous improvement, evolving engineering processes and methodologies to increase efficiency, scalability, and quality;
  • Collaboration: Develop team culture by breaking down silos and driving shared success within the hardware org and other GPU and Arm functions;
  • Partner engagement: Represent engineering with internal and external partners, building trusted relationships and ensuring communication quality is consistently high;
  • The position will require periodic travel to Arm and customer sites.

Essential skills/experience

  • Experience in HW IP development;
  • Experience in leading, growing and managing engineering teams;
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, empower and develop talent at scale to achieve successful outcomes;
  • Experience building roadmap scenarios to support strategic/technical direction setting;
