What You’ll Do
- Perform link budget analysis and modeling of GNSS and communication links;
- Analyze and simulate Controlled Reception Pattern Antennas (CRPAs) for anti-jam and anti-spoofing;
- Develop and simulate RF system models for satellite navigation and positioning applications;
- Evaluate and implement advanced signal processing techniques to improve accuracy and resilience;
- Integrate COTS GNSS antennas and receiver modules into embedded systems and products;
- Plan and execute laboratory testing of GNSS antennas and receivers, including validation and debugging;
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure successful integration into UAV and defense platforms;
- Document technical findings, test results, and design decisions in a clear and structured way.
Requirements
What You´ll Need
- Deep knowledge of satellite-based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems across space and ground segments;
- Expertise in at least one GNSS standard such as GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, or BeiDou; multi-system experience is highly valued;
- Strong understanding of RF receiver architectures and signal chains for navigation;
- Solid background in signal processing techniques including filtering, tracking, and interference mitigation;
- Thorough understanding of radio wave propagation effects such as multipath and fading;
- Strong grasp of antenna theory, including CRPA systems for anti-jam and anti-spoofing;
- Proficiency in Python for RF system modeling, signal analysis, and simulation workflows;
- Hands-on experience with GNSS jamming and spoofing scenarios is a strong plus.
