As the Universal Damper Toolkit Developer, you will take ownership of building a scalable, reusable framework for damper components across our global turbine platform. Your role is pivotal in creating standardization and design efficiency, enabling faster deployment and consistent quality. Working hand-in-hand with simulation experts, mechanical engineers, and validation specialists, you ensure that innovation is embedded into repeatable, production-ready tools – forming the technical backbone of our future damping solutions.

Your Tasks:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive damper toolkit to standardize future tower projects.
  • Enable reusability across different turbine platforms through a common parts approach.
  • Support product development by streamlining damper parameter integration.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure cross-project alignment and efficient tooling.

Your Profile:

  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • Background in mechanical system standardization, modular design, or platform development.
  • 5+ years of experience in similar development or toolkit-related roles.
  • Good understanding of damper systems, machine design, and configuration management.
  • Experience with digital engineering tools and process integration.
  • English fluency; German and Spanish skills are beneficial.
  • Proactive, collaborative work style and structured thinking.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
