We are seeking an experienced Lead Systems Engineer to join our newly formed Technical Pursuits team. This key role will DRIVE new business wins by leveraging our platform assets and reusable solutions to meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical authority during RFI/RFQ activities, securing technical content agreement, leading technical negotiations, and ensuring successful project initiation through effective platform adaptation.

Your Tasks:

Business Development & Customer Engagement:

• Partner with regional teams to proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities;
• Secure that system engineering estimations (EFIT) are reliable;
• Lead technical deep dive sessions with potential customers to understand their architecture and technology needs.

Technical Solution Development:

• Secure that customer requirements are analyzed and approved with all internal and external stakeholders;
• Create technical proposals that clearly articulate our solution approach, differentiators, and value proposition;
• Support in development of the technical content for RFI/RFQ responses.

Platform Adaptation & Solution Architecture:

• Evaluate customer requirements against existing platform capabilities to identify fit/gap analysis;
• Determine necessary adaptations to meet specific customer needs;
• Define technical solution architectures that balance customer requirements with optimal platform utilization;
• Collaborate with product teams to identify platform enhancement opportunities based on market needs.

Project Transition & Initialization:

• Ensure smooth transition from pursuit to development to delivery by creating comprehensive technical documentation;
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with implementation teams;
• Establish technical governance and architectural guardrails for new projects;
• Support project kickoff activities to ensure alignment between customer expectations and solution design.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

• Work closely with Regional Engineering, Product Management, and Delivery teams;
• Provide feedback to platform teams on market needs.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, solution architecture, or similar technical roles;
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences;
• Experience with RFI/RFQ response development and technical proposal writing.
