DUTIES

As an Industrialization and Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing production and maintenance processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to drive continuous improvements.

The activities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Work closely with the Engineering Unit and Infrastructure Department to efficiently industrialize products and subcomponents within expected timeframes. This includes coordinating with third-party companies;
  • Create mock-up environments to assess assembly capabilities and establish ergonomic and balanced workstations. This helps ensure that the assembly process is efficient and comfortable for workers;
  • Ensure that production and assembly processes comply with company quality and safety standards. This involves regular checks and adherence to established protocols;
  • Identify areas for improvement within the production and assembly processes. Propose and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste;
  • Cooperate with different teams to identify opportunities for process optimization. This includes streamlining workflows and enhancing productivity;
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for infrastructure and machineries;
  • Define maintenance strategies for newly installed equipment and assembly lines;
  • Lead the Plant Maintenance Team and adopt a hands-on approach to problem-solving;
  • Promote a safety-first mindset across all maintenance and industrialization activities;
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Department to negotiate outsourced maintenance activities with third-party companies.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical Aerospace, Electronic) or related fields;
  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM);
  • Strong understanding of production processes and procedures;
  • Familiarity with production equipment and tools;
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

  • Previous experience with space and defense-related technologies and systems will be considered as a plus;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, working under tight deadlines;
  • Excellent attitude towards teamwork and cooperation;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
