Your role

• Coordinating development of new products and improving existing ones to maximize efficiency and quality of product design work;
• Supporting and managing directly reporting personnel on a daily basis;
• Ensuring flawless launch of programs;
• Prioritizing tasks and reporting to managers;
• Monitoring and evaluating performance of personnel;
• Planning personal growth of each Team Member;
• Identifying training needs for the Team;
• Monitoring technical data (3D/2D) quality, looking for improvements and Lessons Learned gathering;
• Active co-operating with other Aptiv locations worldwide;
• Protecting confidential information and company’s property;
• Realizing given tasks according to agreed timing;
• Working in compliance with EOS (Enterprise Operating System).

Your background

• Demonstrated management experience including driving teams to common goals, empowering teams, managing complex technical issues;
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in technical field with specialization in mechanics, mechatronics;
• Good skills in one of following CAD software, e.g.: Siemens NX - preferred, Catia V5, Inventor, ProE;
• Good knowledge of GD&T rules (dimensioning and geometrical tolerances);
• Good knowledge of plastic parts design rules, moulding;
• Excellent English skills (both spoken and written);
• Ability to supervise a team and to solve problems creatively;
• Openness to the challenges and development;
• Problem solving skills;
• Basics of Project Management (scheduling, resources allocation, risk management).
