Process Engineer Dry Etch

What you will do
- You will support daily process engineering activities in both 200mm/300mm cleanrooms in close collaboration with Hardware, Operations and Integration teams.
- Being and acting as a dry etch and strip tool owner focusing on safety, quality, cycle time, cost and sustainability.
- You contribute to the process stability, process improvements, problem prevention and for the introduction of new processes.
- You will troubleshoot issues, focus on root cause analysis and long-term solutions by applying standard methodologies (8D, FMEA…)
- Thinking ahead and participating in the definition of the Fab Engineering roadmap
- You are willing to work in an early-late regime with one weekend out of four.
Who you are
- You obtained a master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or equal by experience and display strong engineering skills and mindset;
- Ideally you have >5 years of experience in process engineering. Young graduates are encouraged to apply;
- You like to take ownership, you are well organized, with a good attention to detail and you set high standards for quality;
- As you will work in cross functional teams, strong communication and reporting skills are required. You are a team player with a strong drive to share your experience and knowledge with colleagues. You strive to document and report your work to highest quality standards;
- You are able to adapt to changing priorities;
- You have a methodical and insightful approach to problem diagnosis and resolution;
- Given the international character of imec, fluency in English is a must.
