Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:

We are looking for a Machinery & Process Engineering Specialist to join our office in Milan.

Reporting directly to the Group Engineering and Investments Director, you will:

• Define electrical specifications for machinery used in cable production
• Select potential suppliers for electrical panels and control systems for various types of machinery
• Assist with design, installation, and commissioning at operating units

You will have the chance to:

• Learn the multiple technological aspects connected to cable production across different phases
• Write technical specifications for electrical systems, automatic controls, power electronics, electrical drives, and automation of electrical systems for production equipment
• Take responsibility for complete projects, from development to production start-up of new equipment
• Be part of a multinational group with affiliates in several countries, offering professional growth within a multiethnic team

You are the right fit if you have/are:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics
• 2/3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in process automation
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset
