WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Responsibility for risk management (safety management) in vehicle development projects
  • Creation of independent assessments of system safety
  • Moderation and coordination with specialist departments and customers
  • Presentation of results to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintenance, development and communication of system safety processes and methods

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, natural sciences or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Experience in project management
  • Military background an advantage
  • Knowledge of basic system safety standards and guidelines (MIL-STD-882E, IEC 61508) desirable
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Moderation skills, independence and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
