Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design and development activities within the following engineering domains: Systems Engineering, Inverter Design, Transmission Design, Electric Motor Design, Mechanical and Electrical Integration, Powertrain Testing;
• Collaborate closely with the Project Management and Operations teams to align the engineering design and development activities with the overall project timeline and objectives, ensuring effective communication and coordination, and cascading information and requests between different teams;
• Drive innovation and efficiency in the design and development processes, adhering to industry standards and best practices;
• Facilitate problem-solving and technical decision-making within the engineering teams, ensuring that the engineering deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field;
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills;
• In-depth knowledge of automotive engineering principles and practices;
• Expertise in powertrain systems;
• Proficiency in coordinating and leading technical teams;
• Ability to oversee complex projects and make quick, decisive, and effective decisions with a proactive and hands-on approach.

Preferred Experience

• 8 years or more of experience in a similar role within the automotive engineering sector;
• Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams;
• Proven track record in leading successful automotive product development projects;
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in automotive engineering.
