Your Tasks

• Manage and further develop a team of piping engineers and piping designers for flue gas cleaning plants incl. carbon capture;
• Manage engineering, timelines and budgets of piping systems in projects effectively;
• Capacity planning and progress monitoring for piping engineering in projects;
• Maintain, review and further develop tools and templates for piping specifications, design drawings, documentation and progress monitoring;
• Ensure compliance with relevant piping standards, codes, and regulations in projects;
• Provide technical support during piping erection in projects;
• Create cost calculations for piping systems in the proposal phase, selection of suppliers in the execution phase.

Your Profile

• University degree (BSc, MSc) in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical education;
• Proficiency in piping design software (e.g. E3d), pipe stress calculation (e.g. Rohr2) and components of piping systems (valves, fittings, sealings, expansion joints, supports etc.);
• Strong knowledge of piping standards and codes (e.g. EN13480, EN12952, ASME);
• Vast experience in engineering and design of piping system for different gases and liquids in e.g. oil& gas, chemical industry or power generation;
• Systematic way of working, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Strong communication and leadership abilities;
• Ability to work effectively in an international team.
