Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DFMEAs to identify and mitigate potential failure modes.
• Support the specification of action plans as outputs of the DFMEAs.
• Perform risk and robustness analyses to enhance system reliability.
• Support system requirements and architecture specification with a focus on reliability.
• Support validation and reliability testing activities to verify compliance with targets.
• Analyze field data, simulations, and test results to improve reliability metrics.
• Document and communicate findings, including risk assessments and recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Three or more years of experience in reliability engineering methods (e.g., DFMEA, FTA) and system engineering processes.
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 26262) in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in reliability software, such as APIS IQ or ANSIS Medini Analyze.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jama, DOORS) and architecture tools (e.g., SysML, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
