What You ‘ll Be Doing:

• Participation in the entire aircraft design and development cycle of state-of-the-art fixed-wing small and tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for defense and security applications, including certification;
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) of unmanned aircraft systems and their subsystems;
• Physical, logical, functional architecture design and modeling;
• Working with cross functional teams for the analysis, definition, allocation and traceability of system requirements and architectures;
• Coordination of design and development activities over the complete system engineering lifecycle;
• Preparation of system documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

• University Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Aeronautical/Systems Engineering or related discipline;
• More than three (3) years of systems engineering experience (in architecture and design, requirements, documentation, CONOPS, integration and verification);
• Experience modeling complex systems using MBSE SysML tools, e.g. Ansys SCADE Architect, Enterprise Architect;
• Experience with engineering requirements management tools, e.g. DOORS.

Desired:

• Familiarity with ARP4754 and ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 aircraft and systems engineering life cycle processes;
• Familiarity with hazard analysis and safety assessment processes and standards, e.g. ARP4761, MIL-STD-882, ISO 26262, IEC 61508;
• Familiarity with Reliability, Availability and Maintainability engineering guidelines and analyses;
• Experience with analytical and simulation tools, e.g. MATLAB, Simulink.
