You will play an instrumental role, positioning Baker Hughes as a key player in the hydrogen value chain. You will have broad responsibility, centered around defining, developing, and managing the hydrogen production offerings of a Baker Hughes play in the hydrogen value chain, including equipment, systems, as well as innovative business models.
As a Hydrogen Production Platform Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Owning deep understanding of hydrogen production market dynamics and technologies, with focus on clean technologies, such as electrolysis and methane pyrolysis;
- Conceptualizing and delivering our growth strategy in the hydrogen production segment;
- Working with Product Leadership, Engineering and Business Development to support capital allocation process for new investments in technology, products, and solutions;
- Liaising with other Product Companies and headquarter teams for a consolidated H2 approach;
- Identifying strategic market segments where the different hydrogen production technologies will be most likely adopted to decarbonize industrial and energy sectors, developing relevant business cases to weigh possible organic and inorganic options;
- Building a product portfolio roadmap for a higher calibre, differentiated offerings in Energy and Industrial sectors, leveraging electrolysis and methane pyrolysis technology expertise;
- Identifying, proposing, and supporting the achievement of strategic alliances and partnerships where appropriate.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a BSc. or MSc. in Chemical and Process engineering or demonstrate equivalent, related professional expertise;
- Have significant experience in the hydrogen market preferably in similar jobs - Business Development, Strategy, Product Leadership, Commercial, Project Development;
- Have an extensive background in hydrogen technologies and applications, with focus on clean hydrogen production technologies;
- Be commercially savvy, aptitude for building relationships, understanding of customer requirements and market conditions, ability to negotiate to find the win-win solution;
- Have very good analytical skills and proven capabilities to develop Business Cases - Able to interpret customer economics;
- Have excellent verbal and written skills and be able to communicate fluently in English;
- Demonstrate leadership skills coordinating teams in a matrix environment;
- Have the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers;
- Be able to travel internationally to visit customers or Baker Hughes locations;
- Be a motivated self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to lead and solve problems.
