What is the role?

You will be responsible for the following activities:

• Subject matter expert in chosen verification and assembly domain
• Manage tasks and provide support and training to 1-3 technicians
• Run functional testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, test execution, and teardown
• Mechanical/electrical assembly of satellite components and subassemblies
• Apply conformal coating, masking, glue application and similar procedures
• Solder and desolder through-hole and SMT components
• Troubleshooting issues during the production process

Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor of Engineering, computer science, or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred:

• Experience working with electronics and embedded systems
• Experience with a range of digital and analog interfaces including GPIB, USB, VISA, TCP/IP, VLAN, CAN bus, SPI, I2C
• Experience working with python scripts
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
• Experience automating processes and testing to improve manufacturing yields and reduce production time
• Good fundamental knowledge on Radio frequency (RF) systems and test equipment
• Experience troubleshooting interactions between software and hardware such as network devices and lab instrumentation
• Experience working in a linux environment
• Basic ECAD or MCAD skills
