Do you want to be part of a consolidated team in the aerospace sector and take on new challenges? GMV is an experienced technology group that offers new challenges.
We are expanding our teams in the aerospace sector to take on FPGA projects.
We´ll get to the point; we'll tell you what's not on the web. If you want to know more about us go to GMV website.
In our team you will develop an FPGA project where you will be in charge of the technical approach definition part, FPGA firmware implementation (VHDL), HW acceleration as co-processing of satellite or spacecraft avionics or some of their on-board instruments, SW/HW co-design, budget size and cost estimation, HW/SW implementation for space applications, documentation, verification/validation and certification of embedded hardware/software (mainly FPGA and FPGA + microprocessor based).
You will also be in charge of the definition of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for operational or simulated space hardware/software systems, technical support for VHDL implementations and assistance in the selection of the most suitable FPGA and/or microprocessor platforms depending on the implementation for space applications (in most cases it will concern radiation tolerant devices), adaptation and deployment of processes, tools and metrics.
We are looking for engineers in electronics, telcommunications, informatics and industrial with background and interest in VHDL development for FPGA, digital signal processing, Xilinx Vivado or Xilinx ISE, Modelsim/Quest, coding in C or C++.
Previous experience and knowledge of Linux and driver programming, real-time operating systems, system-on-Chip, embedded CPU and bus architectures will also be an asset.
