We are looking for a Process Performance Engineer to join Airbus in Broughton, UK. You will join the Manufacturing Engineering department and work with a busy and collaborative team.

The Process Performance Engineer (PPE) responsibility is to define the best industrial sequence of work to be operated on the shop floor, optimising overall Spent Time by Aircraft.

Tasks & Accountabilities:

  • Create and maintain Gantt chart;
  • Create and maintain Standard Line Balancing (SLB) and thus enable Production Pace Control (PPC);
  • Monitor Manufacturing performance and propose improvements based on analysis of gap;
  • Reduce Efficiency Loss via white space/red space identification, analysis and reduction;
  • Improve Process and Serial Allocated time via VA/NVA analysis and shop floor process observation;
  • Translate industrial requirements to design and supply chain;
  • Evaluate industrial impacts of modification.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in supporting and improving industrial systems;
  • Define and calculate standard time value;
  • Knowledge of standard line balancing methods;
  • Understanding of white space and red space.
