Position Overview:

You will be contributing to the core strategy of Diebold Nixdorf by testing and qualifying our Point of Sale (POS) and Self-Checkout Systems (SCO) for the Retail market. In doing so, you will work cross-functionally with other technical/engineering teams to define product quality requirements. You will develop test concepts to ensure that the hardware and software is functioning properly, is error free and robust, and that the specified standards and requirements of the customers are met.

You are responsible for:

  • The planning, definition, coordination and execution of the Design Verification Test (DVT) for electronic modules (Motherboards, PCBA, µC);
  • Creating/Managing test plans, which are closely linked to the product specification and aligned with development, product management as well as service;
  • The definition of the product specific quality requirements for electronic modules;
  • Reporting progress on QA project status to project teams;
  • Developing test methods and tools to automate and harmonize test procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

  • You have a Master or bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or similar study;
  • Your focus and expertise are electronics and electrical engineering (µC-Boards, PCBA);
  • Ideally you already have experience in quality assurance and analysis of electronic and electromechanic assemblies and their interaction in complex systems;
  • Experience in HW development projects (V-Model/Waterfall) would be an advantage;
  • Ideally you have experience with Jira and Confluence;
  • High level of analytical thinking and systematic approach;
  • Spoken and written English, basic German.
