A vacancy for a Collaboration and Social Solution Architect (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.
You will join the "Digital Workplace" department and will act on your own initiative within the department. You will closely collaborate with other Airbus divisions (Airbus commercial, Defence & Space, Helicopters). New intranet and Google Workspace is the cornerstone of the Digital Workplace programme, a transformational initiative for the company. The new product will be based in Google technology.

We are looking for a person that feels comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate will feel comfortable working autonomously while being part of a multinational team, in which team spirit is essential.
This position implies daily contact with several stakeholders at all levels of the company, therefore excellent communication skills are required. Expertise in Google and Lumapps products would be a plus.
You will have to set-up and drive your product respecting the best user experience possible and your dedicated budget.
Your activities will have to be delivered for the 3 divisions of the group (Airbus Aircraft, Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Defense and Space).
You will be encouraged to apply ITIL best practices.
Tasks & accountabilities:
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- be responsible for the user experience and the user adoption of this new collaborative solution;
- be responsible of managing:
- Design the new collaboration backbone strategy;
- Design the functional & technical solutions;
- Contribute to build the future collaboration solutions;
- Present and Align our solutions to various stakeholders (security, legal, data protection);
- Preserve the best UX possible;
- Perform troubleshooting on specific & complex use cases.
- be in charge of leading a team (functionally) applying agile methods and/or ITIL best practices;
- measure the performance of your product and launch improvement action plan;
- Liaising with Google to influence Roadmap.
This role will involve some travel for business (once per quarter) in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills:
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Educated to a degree level (or equivalent) in IT;
- Strong experience in IT services and operations;
- Strong knowledge of ITIL;
- Strong experience in team/people lead;
- Ideally, knowledge of AGILE methodology;
- Basic knowledge of mobile applications;
- Ability to communicate with different interfaces;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work within a team;
- Curiosity;
- Language Skills: Advanced level of English.
