For Airbus Helicopters at the Donauwörth location we are looking for a Sales Manager (m/d/f) as soon as possible!

The international sales team is responsible for a great part of all civil and military customers in Europe. The tasks range from selling the helicopters (all types) to complex service contracts. Sales is the central interface to the customer over the entire life cycle of the helicopter.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Represent Airbus Helicopters as the main point of contact for the assigned customers & countries;
  • Link between customers and Airbus Helicopters;
  • Responsible for the customer relationship and ensure ing the company's strategy to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty;
  • Deepen and expand business of helicopter and support & services sales;
  • Acquire new customers;
  • Preparing accurate sales forecasts regarding business development for all offered products and services to support Airbus Helicopters production and resource planning;
  • Creation of sales strategies and capture plans to achieve the targets;
  • Leading the campaign team on complex sales campaigns in compliance with the relevant processes and regulations;
  • Consulting the customer on the appropriate product;
  • Negotiate and prepare the offer/contract;
  • Optimization of sales with the customer over the lifetime of the products by analysing and anticipate specific needs;
  • Information to specialist departments about market development and trends in order to adapt the products accordingly;
  • Monitoring of the contractual obligations between the customer and Airbus Helicopters in close coordination with the department being charge.

Desired Skills and qualifications

  • Master Aeronautical Engineering or comparable;
  • Several years of experience in the Customer Support, SALES/Program Management;
  • Experience with direct intern and extern customer contact and with Contract Management/Export regulations;
  • Knowledge of the AH product portfolio;
  • English negotiation level, German is a plus.
