Für Airbus Defence and Space in Friedrichshafen suchen wir für die Abteilung ""G-S Studies Systems Engineering" einen Studieningenieur (d/m/w) Satellite Ground Segments.
Hauptaufgaben:
Definition und Design von Satelliten GS und deren Elementen unter Verwendung von State-of-the-Art Methoden und Tools, z.B. MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering):
- GS Anforderungsanalyse und Architekturdefinition;
- Durchführung von Design Trade-Offs;
- Identifikation von GS internen und externen Schnittstellen und Definition der zugehörigen ICDs (Interface Control Dokumente);
- Spezifikation von GS HW & SW Elementen, Redundanz-Konzepte, Synchronisation zwischen redundanten Elementen;
- Definition von GS Betriebskonzepten (Concepts of Operations/ConOps);
- Unterstützung bei Kostenschätzungen für GS Entwicklungen;
- Beiträge zur GS-Systementwicklung, AIV (Assembly, Integration, Verification) und Auslieferung.
Unterstützung des technischen Managements bei:
- Erstellung von Angeboten;
- Studien und F&E-Aktivitäten;
- Subcontractor Management.
Zusammenarbeit mit Space Segment Engineering, Space Instrument, Performance Engineering und Operations Engineering.
Was bringen sie mit?
- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Luft- und Raumfahrt, Informatik, Computer Communications (Network) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation;
- Erfahrung im Systems Engineering von Informationssystemen;
- Kenntnisse der Prozesse und Standards der Raumfahrtindustrie sowie im Softwareengineering (moderne Methoden/agile Vorgehensweisen);
- Nachweisliche Erfahrung im Systems Engineering und in der Systementwicklung;
- Umfangreiche Erfahrung mit UNIX/Java/C/C++ basierten Informationssystemen;
- Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, teamorientierte Arbeitsweise;
- Erfüllung der Voraussetzungen für die Sicherheitsüberprüfung Ü2;
- Verhandlungssichere deutsche und englische Sprachkenntnisse.

A vacancy for a Study Engineer (d/f/m) Satellite Ground Segments has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Friedrichshafen. The successful applicant will join "G-S Studies Systems Engineering".
Main tasks:
Definition and design of Satellite GS and its elements using state-of-the art methods and tools, e.g. MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering):
- GS requirements analysis and architecture definition;
- Execution of design trade-offs;
- Identification of GS internal and external interfaces and definition of the respective ICDs (Interface Control Documents);
- Specification of GS HW & SW elements, redundancy concepts, synchronization between redundant elements;
- Definition of GS Concepts of Operations/ConOps;
- Support to cost estimates for GS developments;
- Contribute to GS System Development, AIV (Assembly, Integration and Verification) and Delivery.
Support to Technical Management in:
- Preparation of proposals;
- Studies and R&D/T activities;
- Subcontractor Management.
Collaborate across interfaces with Space Segment Engineering, Space Instrument, Performance Engineering, and Operations Engineering.
Your offer:
- University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Communications (Network) or similar;
- Experience with Systems Engineering of Information Systems;
- Knowledge of processes and standards in Space Industry as well as in Software engineering (modern methods/agile approach);
- Proven experience in systems engineering and system development;
- Comprehensive experience with information systems based on UNIX/Java/C/C++;
- Good communications skills, team player;
- Requirements for the security clearance Ü2 must be met;
- English and German language skills (negotiation level).
