Configuration Management (CM) is one of the major Airbus pillars to support all industrial activities along Aircraft lifecycle, from product development, its production and its continuous evolution with airworthiness authorities and the customers. It allows to manage the status of the product all along the aircraft lifecycle.
The Configuration Management Centre of Competence (CoC) is a trans-national team, around 100 colleagues, working on operational support, processes, methods and tools to ease business needs in Configuration Management. Projects on Research, Technology Methods and Tools are main backbones.
The job description is related to the Conformity and Attestation process. The purpose of this process is to demonstrate that aircraft (and sub components) produced are fully compliant with their applicable definition.
The jobholder is working in collaboration with a transnational team of "CM Functional architects" with the objective to define and develop Process, Methods and Tools related to the Conformity and Attestation implementation for all series Programs, including the next generation aircraft.
The scope is cross-program, trans-national, and trans-functional (Engineering, Program, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Services…).
