For Airbus Helicopters at Donauwörth, we are looking for you as our next Engineering & Aviation Safety Auditor (m/f/d)!
In this role you perform DOA internal audits following the general audit workflow described in COM 18. As part of the IMCA (Independent Monitoring, Compliance and Adequacy) internal network, interface with IMCA Manager and Quality and design representative have to be managed also.
The Engineering Audit perimeter covers:
- the AH single DOA 21J.700 and equivalent military DOAs;
- the Design Assurance System of AH´s Subsidiaries and Customer Centers; and
- in particular cases the Design Assurance System of AH´s suppliers.
For systemic approach your scope of activity will also concerns Safety Management System (soon part of Part 21 requirements) audit and others audit as required within internal audit scope like ones covering POA requirements.
Main tasks:
Independent Compliance and Monitoring of:
- the adequacy of the documented procedures of the Airbus Helicopters Design Assurance System; and
- the organization and procedures/instructions of Airbus Helicopters related to flight safety and quality regulations through audits.
The auditor will:
- Ensure the monitoring of the Single Design Organization Approvals mainly through audits and assessment;
- This monitoring follows a risk-based approach according to the COM 18 process, and it shall include a feedback to the head of engineering and aviation safety audit for further consolidation toward IMCA Manager and Head of Internal audit;
- For the German military DOA approval LufABw-LTB-010-16 Governmental H/C and Regulations A1-275_2-8901 Military Derivatives (GE) A1-275_2-8902 written in German, your role will be central and supportive for the other auditors.
The Engineering Audit perimeter covers the AH single DOA 21J.700 and equivalent military DOAs.
For COM 18, audit scope is AH organization including POA requirements.
Main responsibilites:
- Contribute to the elaboration of the AH internal audit plans;
- Audit all the applicable requirements through COM 18 process and DOA specificities;
- Perform internal audit according airbus Helicopters COM 18 (EN9100, Part 21, EMAR or equivalent, Safety Management System requirement);
- Monitor implementation of corrective action in interface with the DOAs and AH stakeholders;
- Participate to EQK activities and audit on request according COM 18 (To audit process);
- Participate to the global continuous improvement of company and the continuous improvement of internal audit with the necessary close network with EQK auditors, and all AH stakeholders;
- Provide inputs for escalating any situation/issue endangering Safety of product and service or Airbus Helicopters interests;
- Participate to the preparation of the reports on the activity.
Your qualifications & skills:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering or comparable;
- Substantial experience within a Design environment preferably within the Aerospace industry;
- An existing auditor qualification would be an advantage, additional quality experience would be a plus;
- Skills to help AH stakeholders aware of their responsibilities related to safety and quality and AH performance (through dedicated meetings and other channels);
- Role model function through conviction instead of uncritical adherence to dogmas;
- Fluency in English, German would be an advantage;
- office pack, SAP Excell Data base/statistics/graphs, capability to manage data bases;
- DOA, Quality and Safety knowledge;
- knowledge of Part 21J (and equivalent referential) and ISO9001/EN9100;
- Integrity, team spirit, openness;
- Diplomatic skills, as well as communication skills, authentic but persistent demeanor.
