We are looking for a career starter as Systems-Engineer for Mission Planning and Execution (d/m/w).

In this position you are responsible for conceptsdefinition, specification/design, development, integration, verifcation, qualification and certification-support to ensure the development and continued airworthiness of the vehicle mission systems used to perform different kind of aerial delivery and logistic missions. You will develop solutions in the area of mission planning and execution for the Aerial Delivery function on the A400M.

Job description:

  • Conceptual design of technical systems;
  • Definition, integration and management of safety critical, complex, software based electronic mission equipment and systems (both at system- and functional level);
  • Specification and carry out all the laboratory, ground and flight tests and support documentation required for the development, certification and validation in front of the customers and Airworthiness Authorities of the Mission Systems and Mission Support Systems;
  • Analyze customer requirements for transformation into a design solution;
  • Validation and verification of requirements;
  • Provide systems engineering support for the full lifecycle of Mission Systems.

Your profile:

  • Degree in aerospace, electrical engineering, computer science or similar;
  • Strong interest in complex, electronic software based systems;
  • Knowledge of new methods: Model Based systems engineering (MBSE) highly desirable;
  • Experience in simulation preferable;
  • High flexibility and willingness to develop;
  • Openness and ability to work in a team.
