A vacancy for a "Infrastructure Decarbonisation Energy Manager (d/f/m)" has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Taufkirchen.

You would join the Performance and Improvement team where we manage Land & Building investment, Risk & Opportunity Management and Sustainability/Energy Management for the 3 divisions, European Wide. We are a small and dynamic team with the objectives to meet our company ambition and ensure Internal Business Partners satisfaction by delivering the right level of performance.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • contribute to the group wide energy decarbonisation roadmap of the 3 divisions as part of the Performance & Improvement organisation of Airbus' integrated group-wide Facility Management & Real Estate ("FMRE"), in order to achieve Airbus Sustainability operational and strategic objectives;
  • responsible for establishing and managing the FMRE energy decarbonisation roadmap for the perimeter of AIRBUS Defence & Space covering all the sites in Europe (France, Germany, UK, Spain);
  • being the prime interface of the AD Sustainability/Environmental department;
  • lead one or several trans divisional projects related to sustainability, energy management, Energy decarbonisation;
  • ensure that the project objectives are met in line with FMRE scope of activities and top company objectives.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Master degree in Energy Management/Sustainability;
  • Proven experience in Energy Management/Sustainability;
  • Knowledge of the global and local energy market;
  • Proven Experience in internal Stakeholder Management in an international context;
  • Strong experience in Project Management, certification would be a plus;
  • Good Negotiation and collaboration skills;
  • Strong leadership skills and mindset;
  • Excellent English skills oral and written;
  • German skills would be a plus.
