The ideal candidate has a strong passion for cars, technology and engineering with a background of power electronics and has worked on additional projects within the industry.
Design and development of new inverter system based on Si IGBT or SiC MOSFET technologies;
Performs detailed studies and analysis of the inverter system (including the mechanical, thermal, electrical, and controls architecture) with emphasis on performance evaluation, design optimization, component selection and sizing, control strategy develop;
Works with embedded hardware, embedded software and enclosure engineers to assign requirements, discuss tradeoffs, perform design reviews and ensure successful integration of the inverter design;
Create and maintain manufacturing and testing instructions, routings, and associated processes;
Participate in the development and maintenance of FMEAs and control plans;
Participate in the transition of a product from concept to pilot line production and into mass manufacturing.
Master’s Degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering;
At least 5 years of professional experience in power electronics;
Technical career oriented, focus in automotive engineering;
