Leading the execution of capital projects ensuring best practices using engineering, regulatory & environmental standards.
Overseeing the design, procurement, budgeting, installation, testing, factory acceptance testing, validation, commissioning and handover of new process equipment/safety upgrades to operations
Project identification with subsequent scope and business case development
Agreement of project scope including Technical requirements, ATEX requirements, CIP requirements, Machinery Safety (CE Mark) requirements and cleanability
Developing the Request for Proposal (RFP) and User Requirement Specification (URS) and issuing to contractor
Developing CAPEX documentation and gaining approval
Participating in HAZOP studies
Approval of project schedule and monitoring timelines, critical path of project throughout the project lifecycle
Leading weekly progress report meetings and the weekly safety review meeting
Undertaking validation requirements on new process equipment and process upgrades (IQ, OQ & PQ).
A third level degree preferably in Process or Mechanical Engineering or similar. A minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Project Management/Engineering of small to medium capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning & Qualification
An excellent record in Health & Safety
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understandingexperience of project controls & governance through the full project lifecycle
