Interface with colleagues from our internal value chain and Vestas sales organization;
Undertake generic updates of our hybrid TPS' incl PV;
Take part in the qualification of 3rd party vendor components;
Carrying out R&D projects related to various eBoP assets.
The following will also be a part of your work:
Developing modular design concept for hybrid power plants;
Ensure optimal design and quality of hybrid power plants;
Support the technology outlook within our field and inputs to our R&D roadmap;
Scoping R&D projects.
B.Sc or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering;
3-5 years of professional experience;
Have a proven track record in planning and designing eBoP systems and be motivated to work within renewable power plants R&D;
Possess a solid understanding of concepts like renewable power plant design, system definition & analysis;
Have a general knowledge of wind power plants, PV-plants, BES-Systems, SVCs, STATCOMs, diesel/gas-gensets, synchronous condensers, and other emerging main electrical components for hybrid renewable power plants.
You may have:
Worked on R&D projects following stage-gate development processes;
An understanding of hybrid power plants, their design and grid interconnection;
Worked with Grid operators, Power generators, Utilities, Grid consulting companies, or eBoP components manufacturers, etc.;
Experience using the major power system simulation tools such as PowerFactory, PSS/E, and PSCAD;
Been working in a team utilizing Agile processes.

Communicate in English at a high level both verbally and in writing;
