About Role

Work includes Static equipment mechanical design and analysis of specific complex deliverables regarding static equipment like Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors, Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers and Atmospheric Tanks included in the project scope of work on Refineries, Petrochemical and Power plants. Also conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, layouts, design calculations, specification development and supervising vendor packages for Static equipment and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Main job responsibilities for mechanical engineer:

  • Applies all relevant procedures, practices and standards.
  • Specifies equipment in accordance with process and project requirements.
  • Writes and handles equipment requisitions in accordance with project requirements.
  • Makes technical evaluations of incoming quotations from bidders and checks same for completeness of scope and compliance with specifications.
  • Reviews drawings, inspection & test procedures and other documents received from the equipment seller.

Specification

  • Desired candidate is quick learner who would like to aim on specific field of mechanical discipline - static equipment.

Requirements

  • Master degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Experienced with the development of Mechanical specifications and data sheets for Static equipment (Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Atmospheric Tanks, etc.).
  • Experienced with Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchanger Mechanical Design software as Compress, PV Elite or similar.
  • Experienced with the preparation of material requisitions for Static Equipment (pressure vessels, columns, reactors, heat exchangers, air coolers, atmospheric tanks etc.)
  • Able to perform Technical Bid Evaluation for Manufacturer and Vendor proposals.
  • Able to perform Manufacturer documentation review (Drawings, Mechanical calculations, Quality documentation, etc.)
  • Fluently read, write and speak the English language (almost all our partners are from abroad).
  • Communication skills (communication with equipment manufacturers, with our Plant designers and commercial staff, with Client, etc…).
  • Willingness for traveling at a meeting to manufacturer’s workshop or to our sister-office.
  • Intention to stay long time with the Company.
  • Valid work permit for Europe/Czech Republic (mandatory).
