The role

Analog Devices has identified the need for a Marketing Manager to join the Green Energy Team. Reporting to the Marketing and Applications Manager, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the Green Energy strategy, opportunity pipeline growth and conversion, revenue forecasting and financial analysis. She/He will work closely with customers to identify where ADI technology fits best and where new system level developments are required in the green energy markets, for example, renewable energy generation, energy storage and EV (Electric Vehicle) charging infrastructure.

  • The Marketing Manager will work with System Applications Engineers to analyze customer technical requirements and define Go-to-Market plans.
  • Working with Central Marketing and the Web Team, communicating the Green Energy strategy for web presence, training, and webinars is key for success.
  • The role requires a flexible, skilled marketer, willing to use technical knowledge in a business environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen are key for the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers, system engineers and key technology engineers in the Energy space, learning pain points, applications, and business challenges.
  • Support Go-to-Market, marketing, and promotional activities.
  • Support Sales and FAEs to convert opportunities and maximize ADI content in customer BOMs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Marketing Management or equivalent, preferably in the semiconductor or energy industry, although experienced candidates from other technical industries will also be considered.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are an essential requirement.
  • A good understanding of business and financials is required.
  • Technically savvy and shows an aptitude and curiosity for new and innovative technologies.
  • Enjoys working in a highly dynamic team environment, openly embraces working with others and actively seeks to do so.
  • Listens to others and displays curiosity. Ability to travel for customer and partner meetings.

Additional Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet schedules in a fast-moving environment.
  • Self-motivated, thorough, and driven to continually improve.
  • Power and battery management ICs know-how is a plus.
  • AE/FAE experience is a plus.
