About the role
Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager who can lead the planning and management of multi discipline projects and teams involving the management, coordination and integration of multi discipline tasks.
The role is accountable for management, control and delivery of engineering projects. At this level, projects feature the requirement to control and integrate are multi discipline tasks and work packages. The role may be required to be a Technical/Design Authority, providing assurance for a project or range of assets.
This role leads the engineering team to deliver technical solutions to budget, targets, and estimating the engineering scope for Projects from concept design to full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). The management responsibilities include the identification and development of strategic capabilities (people, processes, methods and tools) to meet project and task objectives.
What do I need to do the role?
- You will have an Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.
- You will have Chartered Engineer status.
- Demonstrable management experience, including experience in managing multi-discipline teams to deliver analysis activities on a range of project types.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
- You will also have experience in the nuclear, defence, oil & gas or a similar highly regulated industry.
- Successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
