We are looking for a Customer Quality Manager for Powertrain Business Unit.

He/she will be in charge of leading a multi-cultural team of about 20 Quality Engineers and Analyst worldwide, supporting Customers/Marelli plants on the monitoring and respect of the quality KPIs target assigned for on-going products.

Main activities/responsibilities

  • Harmonize and develop Customer Quality Team according to Customer’s demand and Marelli strategies;
  • Integrate and coordinate all the others Marelli Regions to offer a global view of Customer Quality Performances and overall Satisfaction;
  • Develop statistical analysis for failure rate estimation/risk analysis and warranty fund accrual;
  • Data collection and management for weekly/monthly reporting;
  • Warranty management by the negotiation of Warranty Agreement with the Customers, estimate of expenses, promote initiatives for quality improvements and costs mitigation;
  • Manage Customer escalation, attend internal/Customer’s meeting, lead task-force in case of needs;
  • Support Customers during new product launch by dedicate team at Customer’s site;
  • Promote the Customer culture/Vision inside Marelli;
  • Pursue the Customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Electronic or Mechanical Degree;
  • Min. 5 years work experience in Automotive business as tier-1 Supplier of OEM and min 3 on management in Quality Functions;
  • Advanced knowledge of quality tools as 8D, 5WHY, 4M, D&P-FMEA, PPAP, APQP, Kaizen;
  • Proved experience on Customer relations, taskforce leading and escalation processes management.

Experienced on Negotiation, Contracts

  • Knowledge of major OEM players and their basic requirements/standards;
  • Basic knowledge of standards such as DIN/ISO 9001 and ISO TS 16949;
  • English fluency (spoken and written), German (preferred);
  • Microsoft Office - Standard software;
  • Available to travel -also at short notice- in US and Europe (short trips).
