About the Role:

WSP are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Engineer to join the Highways team based in Cambridge

The role would be based in a modern highways design office in Cambridge and covers an interesting and varied workload - from major highways improvements through to a diverse range of small and medium highways and structural design projects.

Your role will be at the heart of our high performing team, using your technical skills and expertise to help us continue driving forward in terms of both technical quality and service efficiency.

A typical week would include:

  • Designing schemes using the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges;
  • Highways design and construction supervision in a local authority environment;
  • Supervision of highway works on site;
  • Working in a quality assured organisation and applying quality procedures.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience of highways design using MX, Civils 3D or similar;
  • Experience in working in a local authority environment;
  • the application of the NEC suite of contracts;
  • A degree in Civil Engineering and achievement or working towards incorporated status of a relevant professional institution.
