Job Title: European Broad-Market Manager Instrumentation & Precision Technology

As a key contributor to Analog Devices Revenue Growth Strategy and Results, the Instrumentation & Precision Technology business Unit are seeking a highly motivated, results driven, customer focused, Channel & Direct Sales engaged individual to drive the future revenue success of our broad-market business in Europe. As a large business with a very diverse customer base the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Definition and implementation of the overall Instrumentation & Precision Technology broad-market outward looking revenue growth strategy for Europe while aligning with the top-line business unit objectives to accelerate new upside top-line revenue and demand creation revenue streams;
  • In cooperation with the ADI Sales organization assume personal ownership to proactively accelerate upside revenue across a select customer base;
  • Drive incremental demand creation revenue results with ADI corporate channel partners;
  • Partner with the direct and indirect Sales organization to identify and support new Instrumentation & Precision Technology channel customers in Europe, new potential markets for Analog Devices while supporting the customer engagement model from concept to revenue generation;
  • Assume the primary role (internally and externally) as the Instrumentation and Precision Technology advocate for Europe to drive results. Assume business development ownership at targeted accounts while building an ECO system in the EU channel within the ADI corporate model that achieves revenue upside goals;
  • Identify system solution initiatives for key market segments in Europe;
  • Develop enhance and promote the Instrumentation and Precision Technology value proposition through the wider EU sales organization, channel partner network and valued customer base;
  • Build strong relationships with the Instrumentation and Precision Technology business unit/product teams, ADI field sales teams, distribution partners and our valued customer base to meet the overall business metric targets;
  • Assume the primary interface role for Instrumentation and Precision Technology business development and product support for Europe with proven ability to understand/compile customer needs, identify new requirements outside of the existing product portfolio and present an internal commercially viable business case to support future product definition;
  • Ability to provide Instrumentation and Precision Technology feedback on the ADI competitor landscape in the broad market and maintain a strong understanding of the market and technology trends including customer market share, focus markets and end products;
  • This is a unique and challenging, customer facing metric driven role from Analog Devices which offers the successful candidate a very diverse experience in a proven successful business unit environment.

Minimum Prior Experience and Competencies

  • Highly driven, Self-Starter, strategic thinker with outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Proven Business acumen and results track record;
  • Good combination of system level thinking and Precision Technology product knowledge base to facilitate complete signal chain customer support;
  • Proven ability to manage many tactical and strategic actions in parallel to drive business opportunity identification and design-in leading to demand creation revenue growth;
  • This role is heavily external-facing and the ability to develop strong customer relationships to drive new business and strategic insight for future product line direction is deemed critical;
  • Good understanding of the commercial dynamics of the Instrumentation and Precision Technology landscape in Europe;
  • Target driven individual with proven track record in Business Development an advantage;
  • Related semiconductor Engineering, Sales or Marketing experience desired;
  • Ability to create enthusiasm around the Instrumentation and Precision Technology direction and product portfolio and to anticipate and remove barriers that threaten the successful completion of the goals;
  • Thrives in ambiguous situations. Enjoys the challenge of translating complex information and concepts into understandable and achievable ideas;
  • Good executive presence with solid strategic thinking background;
  • Experience in working with channel customers to drive product awareness and growth;
  • This individual must possess the natural ability to motivate and drive accountability.

Education Level

  • Bachelor's Degree.

Travel Required

  • Yes, 50% of the Time.
