As a part of the Automotive/ATV division, the High Power product line (HP) provides innovative products and solutions for highly efficient drive technologies for electric vehicles. In this challenging new job, you are responsible for Automotive High Voltage product development within the Development Center of Infineon in Dresden. You will lead a team of project managers and concept engineers to set the standards in leading edge of automotive high voltage product development. Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Lead a team for automotive high voltage power semiconductor product development of up to 10 employees and several student employees
  • Orchestrate and manage the development projects within the team in accordance to the business line and development center needs
  • Be responsible for the time to market and execution quality of the respective development projects as well as for the pipeline and budget planning of your team
  • Drive a continuous development of the people, skills and methodologies within your team in order to achieve optimum customer satisfaction
  • Establish a competence landscape and competence network by networking intensively with internal and external partners, universities and institutes

Your Profile

We want your excellent leadership skills, combined with thorough expertise and knowhow in product development of power semiconductors. Additional expertise in the areas of Electromobility solutions would be an advantage. This makes you the perfect senior manager for our new design team in the Development Center Dresden.

Furthermore, you should have:

  • A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • At least 6 years of experience in development of semiconductor devices or technologies
  • Therein at least 2 years in people or project management
  • Profound knowledge in the area of power semiconductor device physics and technology
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to establish a successful and sustainable cooperation
  • Excellent German and English language skills.
