Lead Project Manager - Hardware Development

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Managing a program of product development projects from initiation to launch, effectively playing an important part in the creation and execution of new development program’s and related projects according to EVBox’ strategic roadmap;
  • Ensuring alignment of scope, timeline, budget and risk with technical project managers, product management and other stakeholders;
  • Ensuring timely delivery of products and features via the development team (-s) within the development program;
  • Managing a resource pool of internal and external project resources;
  • Managing communication with EMS partners and key-suppliers regarding new and future product development projects;
  • People management of the team members under your direct responsibility, growing and improving the professional working level and output quality of the team members under your responsibility;
  • Extending and optimizing product development processes and procedures within EVBox.

Requirements

  • MSc in engineering, preferably in the field of electronics or mechanics;
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in a mid-size or larger company on project- and program management, product development management or product engineering with a commercial component in the B2B or B2B2C market;
  • Extensive experience in program management of electronics based products for commercial markets and customers;
  • Proper understanding of electronics, IoT and embedded firmware systems;
  • Experience with electronic product certifications (EMC, safety, functional);
  • Experienced in requirements management systems;
  • Experience in AC or DC charging station development is a major plus;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, experienced in dealing with various internal stakeholders, development partners, EMS companies and suppliers on an international playing field;
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) additional knowledge of the Dutch and German language is preferred;
  • Strong people/Leadership management skills;
  • Currently in possession of drivers’ license B is a must for this role;
  • Willing to travel 10-15% of time.
