OMICRON is an international company serving the electrical power industry with innovative testing and diagnostic solutions. The application of OMICRON products provides users with the highest level of confidence in the condition assessment of primary and secondary equipment on their systems. To actively push our business across the full OMICRON product range in the Swedish market and to closely collaborate with other team members in the Nordic market we are looking for a highly competent and dynamic Sales & Application Engineer to be based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Your tasks

  • you will contribute to technical and commercial sales tasks, such as:
    • providing product consultation, training and support within all areas of the power network to our customer base;
    • providing on-site support to customers in all questions concerning OMICRON products & applications.
  • you will be responsible for active sales development in support of the Area Sales Manager for the Nordic market;
  • you will prepare and hold product presentations and onsite demonstration of our products;
  • you will conduct product trainings and hold seminars for our customers;
  • you will feedback the market needs for existing and future products and give technical input;
  • you will take part in exhibitions, seminars, conferences and user meetings;
  • your travel share is up to 50 %.

Your profile

  • you have completed a professional technical education in electrical engineering;
  • you have at least 3 years practical testing and commissioning experience in power systems, especially in the fields of power system protection and high voltage apparatus, as well as knowledge of power system substations, generation, transmission and distribution of electric power;
  • ideally you are well experienced with the main OMICRON products and you know how to use them for testing, measurements and for analysing results;
  • you enjoy selling and convincing customers using your networking skills;
  • you have a creative, innovative and solutions-oriented attitude;
  • you are a proactive and organized person with good communication skills;
  • you enjoy working in an international team spread across the Nordics/Europe and you like travelling;
  • you have excellent knowledge of English and Swedish, additional languages, e.g. Finnish is a plus;
  • you have a driver license - minimum class B.
