To assist in managing Well-Services business in the UK utilizing technical experience to promote the business to both internal and external customers.
To coordinate with internal departments and the customer on projects, maintain company work standards and performance and plan equipment and personnel. Work with Base and Operation Managers as well as country focal points to maintain operational reliability.
To manage and oversee the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for the areas and locations supported by Well-Services for UNS Geozone.
Responsible for $2m-$250m budget
Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system. Including:
Adhere to quality procedure and policies in accordance with the ISO9001 (where applicable) quality assurance system. Including:
Work closely with Engineering/BD Staff to deliver contracted work to the client’s site.
Remain in close contact with our customers to be informed about their operational requirements. Analyze these requirements in relation to equipment and personnel available and if necessary make recommendations/suggestions to customers and management.
Prepare forecast with respect to equipment and personnel utilization and make recommendations for possible critical periods.
Support clients with technical data. Support sales and field personnel with the same.
Ensure that all documentation related to outgoing rental equipment is according to the specification as outlined in the corresponding Call Report(s) and also make a final document check to verify that the relevant QC Standards are met.
Visit customers at the well site and offices on a regular basis in order to cement existing relationship. Also the performance of Service Technicians and Equipment on location shall be monitored.
Help develop operational personnel to the high standards required by the product line & region, maximize staffing of national personnel with competent personnel. Optimise personnel and equipment utilization in the region.
Share operational lessons learnt across the region and company.
Ensure that all Service Technicians HSE Training files are up to date and necessary certificate are valid and ensure that all Service Technicians are in possession of or issued appropriate PPE’s according to the Weatherford HSE Program Manual.
Offer to join pre-job briefings with the assigned crew leaders and discuss any special Customer requirements including HSE aspects and/or deviations from the regular work instructions and procedures. Debrief crews after jobs and advise department supervisors on necessary action to overcome or prevent problems that have arisen.
Maintain and development training programs for operations staff. Help to ensure that all applicable work instructions and procedures of the quality system are understood by supervised personnel and quality records are maintained as required.
Accept any reasonable assignment as requested by the RBUM.
