Senior Production Technician - Halfdan A
You will take part in an innovative organization through our global technology strategy. Compared to the traditional technology scope of Maersk Oil, the Technology Strategy introduces a stronger focus on drilling and production facilities, particularly in the direction of automation and digital technology solutions.
As part of the Danish Business Unit Asset, offshore, you will shape and develop a central role with great influence in the planning and execution of production and optimization related tasks. You will furthermore get to make daily health checks enabling safe operation of the process and utility systems. Besides on-the-job training offshore, you will occasionally attend a number of courses which cover safety related as well as technical training; this is one of the ways to uphold superior standards when it comes to safety and technological excellence - and a way for you to develop your professional skills.
You will work in rotation of 2 weeks offshore and 3 weeks at home. Courses and other activities will be conducted in the home stay period. Moreover, during the 14 days offshore, you will work 12 hrs. shifts. Night shifts will be a part of the job.
You will have a key role in efficient coordination of production activities supporting safe and optimized production. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting management of master copies. Finally, you will identify lack of competence in resources ensuring safe and efficient operation of the process, utility and safety systems.
Your other responsibilities and tasks:
- Responsible for safe production, utility & safety equipment condition;
- Responsible for supporting in identifying the correct mitigations for occupational and process safety risks before, during and after activity execution;
- Responsible for developing equipment isolations and re-instatement plans and support in verification of quality and effectiveness of same prepared by others.

You may hold a bachelor degree as Marine engineer or within electrical or mechanical engineering or similar. Most important is that you have technical experience and professional experience with leading smaller groups of people.
Your other qualifications include:
- Knowledge about installation performance and condition;
- Experience with leading others;
- Knowledge of process, utility and safety equipment;
- You have experience from the offshore industry;
- Fluent in oral and written English.
