We are really very happy to host ESAT 2026 in Lisbon!
The European Symposium on Applied Thermodynamics (ESAT) is the oldest and most renowned conference on Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, with the first edition being held in 1974, in West Berlin (Germany), under the leadership of Prof. Helmut Knapp.
ESAT will be organized for the 3rd time in Portugal and for the 1st time in Lisbon. Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and a historical city where the sun shines 290 days a year and temperature rarely drops below 15 ℃. Moreover, it was selected by World Travel Awards as Europe's Leading City Destination 2024. In Lisbon, you feel safe wandering around day or night, and the family-like way it welcomes visitors has become famous in recent years.
